California United Dominates League Cup Pool Play with Back-to-Back Wins

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2024) — California United’s 2016 Boys team delivered an impressive display in League Cup pool play over the weekend, posting dominant wins over Xclusive FC and Juventus Academy.

In their first match, California United defeated Xclusive FC 9-1, with Andres Martinez, Rex Masterson, Esteban Valdes, Neymar Alcaraz, Roman Garibay, and Fabian Cabrera all contributing to the high-scoring affair. Masterson netted two goals, while Cabrera led in playmaking, recording three assists. Alcaraz and Masterson each added two assists, and Martinez rounded out the effort with an assist of his own.

California United carried their momentum into the second match, overpowering Juventus Academy 5-1. Cabrera led the attack with a hat trick, supported by goals from Masterson and Alcaraz. Alcaraz also showcased his passing vision with four assists, rounding out a stellar individual performance.
